Ginger yellow is the colour of saffron fields at harvest, of autumn chinar leaves, of the warm light that falls across the Dal Lake at dusk. It is a colour deeply rooted in Kashmir’s landscape, and it carries that warmth into everything it touches — including the person who wears it.

This Hashidar shawl pairs that rich, spiced ground with hand-embroidered silk borders worked in the traditional border-frame technique. The motifs — flowering vines, geometric paisleys, delicate scrollwork — are stitched by a single artisan using fine silk thread, the needle guided entirely by eye and memory rather than any printed pattern.
